Hi, I’m Takota Clarke, an entrepreneur in the making, raised in a world where business was never just about numbers or meetings. It was always about vision, passion, and people.

My journey began in this five story building that my family has poured our hearts into for decades. Over the years, our first floor space has welcomed a number of event venue groups, each with its own charm, creativity, and dreams. Watching those teams bring ideas to life, seeing the sparkle in a bride’s eye on her wedding day, and witnessing people come together to create unforgettable moments is where I truly fell in love with what it means to build something meaningful.

My greatest inspiration has always been my mom, Jori Clarke. She is not only my mentor and biggest supporter, but also a living example of what is possible when insight meets determination. She has owned and led several successful businesses, including a tech company, and today she guides the vision behind our multi functional building. She has walked an incredible path, and she has brought me alongside her every step of the way.

Through her guidance, I have learned that building a business is about far more than success. It is about strategy, service, and soul. I have seen firsthand that going the extra mile is not just good business, it is what separates the average from the exceptional.

That philosophy is the foundation of Tenzing Events. The name Tenzing is derived from the Tibetan word “ten,” meaning to hold or uphold, and “zing,” meaning excellent or auspicious. Together, it represents an upholder of excellence. The name is also famously associated with Tenzing Norgay, the Sherpa mountaineer who, alongside Sir Edmund Hillary, was among the first to reach the summit of Mount Everest. That spirit of perseverance, care, and excellence is what we strive to embody in everything we do.

This is only the beginning of my journey, but I am deeply proud of where it started. I grew up in the middle of it all, learning from the best and gaining hands on experience every step of the way. Our work at Tenzing Events is rooted in intention, care, and a commitment to being true upholders of excellence.
